Gian Marco La Serra is a pianist and composer from Rome, Italy.
He started to study solfeggio at 6 years old, and at 9 met the piano listening to a classmate playing “Fur Elise” by Ludwig Van Beethoven, and fell in love with it.
In 2006 he graduated at the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia, under the learning of maestro Giovanna Crescentini.
He loves science and earth so he undertakes geological studies at University and in these years he expanded his musical knowledges and abilities performing as soul, pop, rock and metal keyboardist with several bands and ensemble.
Since 2012 he focuses on composition, mainly for solo piano; in 2014 he released his first album “Piano Solo“, a collection of 10 original pieces in a very personal mood.
Piano and keyboard teacher, as well as arranger, he carries on his love in telling stories and giving emotions by the music, also in collaboration with other artists.

Comincia a studiare solfeggio all’età di 6 anni, e a 9 si innamora del pianoforte dopo aver ascoltato un suo compagno di classe suonare “Per Elisa” di Ludwig van Beethoven.
Nel 2006 si diploma al Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia sotto la guida del maestro Giovanna Crescentini.
L’amore per la scienza e la terra lo porta ad intraprendere gli studi geologici mentre espande le proprie conoscenze musicali esibendosi come tastierista in diverse formazioni, toccando i generi soul, pop, rock e metal.
Dal 2012 si concentra sulla composizione, principalmente per pianoforte solo e nel 2014 pubblica il suo primo album “Piano Solo“, una raccolta di 10 brani inediti in uno stile molto personale.
Insegnante di pianoforte e tastiere, oltre che arrangiatore, porta avanti il suo amore nel raccontare storie e regalare emozioni attraverso la musica, anche in collaborazione con altri artisti.
